Diversity, Disability, Equality, and Inclusion
Our goal is to change the publishing industry (and consequently the world) for the better through our books. We are committed to representing and providing a platform to those who are often quieted and discriminated against in the publishing industry. As a result, we respect and do our best to include people of all races, genders, identities, sexual orientations, ages, and abilities. We do not tolerate racism, misogyny, homophobia, ableism, ageism, or xenophobia. We have no patience for bigotry or any other -isms.
Our authors are unprejudiced and open-minded. They want to change the world just like us. Each one of us is doing something different to change the world—inside and outside our writing. We want to make the world a better place, and we all work hard every day to do it.
We encourage our authors to spread happiness through their social media as well. Every day we reach thousands of people with our messages of love. We want to build a more open and inclusive world, and that starts with us and our philosophy. No matter how small one's actions are, they will unequivocally result in significant changes in other people's lives.
Because we care about being as inclusive as possible with our authors and stories, all of our books and/or authors represent at least one minority group (Women, Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, Immigrants, LGBTQ+, People with Disabilities, and others).
Part of our ongoing efforts to better represent and give a voice to those who are part of groups that are often underrepresented and silenced are displayed below:
62% of our authors are female;
41% of our authors are male.

29% of our authors identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
53% of our books have at least one LGBTQ+ character.
24% of our authors said they have a disability.
42% of our books have a least one character with some sort of disability.
74% of our books have at least one BIPOC character.
